Drinking around the world Debate
There has been a lot of internet debate on which way to drink beers around the world in Epcot.
I am here to set the record straight. There is a correct way to do this and if you’re not following it are you really drinking around the world?
Where To Stay for drinking around the world
First things first, to correctly drink around the world you should be either staying in Disney’s boardwalk Resort, Disney’s Beach Club, or Disney’s Yacht Club. I guess technically now with the Skyliner you can also stay at any of the Skyliner resorts. If you are not staying at any of these resorts reevaluate your Disney planning, I recommend calling Michelle McKnight (AKA the rope drop Queen)
Before we get into the route you should be taking around the World Showcase here are some quick drinking around the world tips.
Gary’s Tips
1 – Stick to beer do not mix in Hard alcohol or wine, it is going to be very hot or very crowded so keep it simple and keep it beer
2- Do not leave the country until you finish your beer/drink this will give you ample time to explore all the pavilions.
3- Don’t make a scene, unlike Alex Morgan, you the average park goer need to be able to keep it cool, calm, and collected, so do not be too inebriated. Know if you need to stop remember there are kids in Walt Disney World.
4- Beers and Disney run at least $9 a pop so maybe consider taking out a second mortgage on your home to pay for this drinking endeavor
The one and only correct route for Drinking around the world
Let’s talk about the correct route, since you’re staying at an Epcot area resort or a Skyliner resort you will be entering Epcot through the international gateway

Back out the International Gateway to the Boardwalk to hang at the Abracadabra bar and get some Pizza from the Pizza Window. (Cause noting goes better with beer than pizza.)

Like I said a lot of debate on how to Drink around the world lately. But I have officially dropped the mic (rope) and have given you the correct way to attack this EPCOT tradition.
